NIIA proudly welcomed His Excellency Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, the distinguished Indian Minister of External Affairs, on the 21st of January, 2024, for a captivating discourse titled “resetting the global agenda: the role of India and the global south.” The Minister gave a scintillating lecture that lasted for about 2 hours and took the guest down memory lane on the gains of India-Nigeria relations. The Director general, Prof. Eghosa Osaghae whilst welcoming the audience, took his time to talk about the gains Nigeria as a whole have benefited from the bilateral relationships and pushed for a stronger bilateral ties between the two countries.
